I am writing an Annotated Bibliographies for an English class. I have a journal article. I need to cite, but not sure how to do it. I have the author and copyright date.

Answer

Here is how the citation would look:

Lastname, FI. MI. (year). Title of article. Publication Title, volume(issue), pages. http://publishershomepageaddress.edu

Here is an example citation:
Smith, T. (2005). Where the wild things are: Traveling and infectious disease in Asia. Journal of Infectious Disease, 35(4), 116-123. http://jid.oxfordjournals.org/articles/where-the-wild

Here is the parenthetical or in-text citation: (Smith, 2005, p. 119).

For more information, check the following Bryant & Stratton College APA Style Guide for the examples.
