How do I do citations in APA format?

Answer

Citations will be different depending on the type of source you are using. Use the Bryant & Stratton College APA Style Guide to find out your type of source and the citation format.

It is very helpful if you use the Guide's table of contents to find the citation examples. https://bryantstratton.libguides.com/ld.php?content_id=31143132

One of the benefits of using the Virtual Library is that it will provide an end-of-text citation for you. To find that:

1. Open the article you are interested in using for your research.

2. Select the quotation marks:

4.) Ensure that the drop-down menu is selected for "APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Assoc.)

5.) Click "Copy to Clipboard."

Your end-of-text reference will be ready to be pasted or added to the reference list for your research.
